The Wellington Wine Route (trading as Go Wellington) requires a dynamic person with special skills in marketing and administration to assist in promoting visitor numbers to Wellington, and the wonderful wine, spirits, hospitality, and tourism businesses of the valley.  

Role – The position involves:

• Working with the membership to arrange wine shows, functions and events, including wine tastings, media events, promotions, etc.
• Developing our membership to include all businesses in Wellington that are interested in bringing visitors to enjoy the offering of the Wellington region.
• Bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities, as well as co-ordinating and minuting membership meetings and group communications.
• Increasing our membership numbers and associate memberships will be a key focus

Requirements – The suitable candidate should:

• Be highly energetic and driven.
• Have at least 3 years relevant experience with contactable references.
• Fluency in English & Afrikaans, and of course a passion for wine is necessary!!

This position will start with one or two days a week in office / remotely.

Remuneration by negotiation.
