Our historic Manor House and whitewashed cottages are set in beautiful gardens characterised by old oak trees, wild olives and abundant bird life and provide a haven of peace and tranquility for guests to enjoy. Situated on the slopes of the Hawequa mountains, the farm offers a sense of seclusion and magnificent views of the dramatic peaks that tower above it. Die Werf at Welgegund accommodates ten guests, making it the perfect place for families and friends to gather.

The kitchen is fully equipped for even the most discerning cook complete with a Lacanche range cooker and a range of Le Crueset pots. There is also a large gas braai for al fresco cooking. Eat in any one of our several dining spaces, either indoors or in one of our outdoor spaces, depending on the weather. Relax in our formal lounge, library or watch sport or a movie in our live-in kitchen lounge.

Our 5 double suites are luxuriously furnished, all en suite with double vanities, feather and down bedding, pure cotton linen , underfloor heating and air conditioning.

There is also a tennis court and a small gym, and guests are free to walk on the farm and take in the natural beauty of our location.
