The rich history of three exceptional wineries paved the way for the birth of Wellington Wines, and dates to 1906, 1907 and 1941 when Wellington Co-operative Winery Ltd., Bovlei Co-operative Ltd. and Wamakersvallei Winery were founded respectively.

The accomplishments of each winery, together with a shared passion for wine and an interest in enriching the Wellington Wine industry, led to the three wine giants combining forces, merging in recent years to form Wellington Wines.

Today we continue to build on the legacy and vision of our founders by creating wines of excellence, and all our wines are born from years of combined history and experience in the wine industry.

Our wines and heritage are a salute to our predecessors and inspire us to continually adapt to a changing wine landscape and keep up with modern trends.

Our cosy tasting room is situated on the Bainskloof Road in Wellington. We invite you to taste and purchase wines in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with breath-taking views of the mountains and vineyards.
